After a long wait, the Cowboys reveal what’s behind the curtains. This year the 11-time Grammy Award-winning singer Dolly Parton will be serenading the SoFi stadium ahead of Thanksgiving. The post from Dallas Cowboys says “Get ready to watch @dollyparton rock the #RedKettleKickoff halftime show this Thanksgiving 🎸”.
The performance begins at 3:30 PM CST on CBS Sports.
The stage is all set and it is just a matter of hours before the fans at the SoFi Stadium and throughout experience an epic performance. When the initial post came out, the fans started taking all sorts of guesses. They ranged from Post Malone, and Shania Twain to even Taylor Swift. But little did the fans know that the Cowboys had another thing coming for them.
A salute to the Dallas Cowboys
The richest sports team in the world does its fair share of giving back to people with the aid of Red Kettle Kickoff. Though the Cowboys have taken tough losses, the spirit of giving back does not waver. In 2016, the Cowboys raised about $160,000 for the Salvation Army in online donations alone. Even Ezekiel Elliott donated more than $12,000 after he was fined by the NFL due to unsportsmanlike behavior because he hopped out of a Kettle. Safe to say the Cowboys must be in high spirits ahead of the Chargers game.

It’s noticeable how amidst all the bad things going on with the Cowboys, taking all the losses and being questioned about their decisions, they are paying attention at the tradition that they have set. Maybe this spirit will set them up for a win in their next game. It’s amazing how they bring out these amazing performers year after year. In 2022, Jonas Brothers performed at halftime and the year before that, it was Luke Combs. But for some people, this is not important, because they just want the Cowboys to win.
