“Cowherd Is a Joke!”- NFL Analyst Colin’s Latest Eagles’ Exposé Earns Backlash

Week 6 has made the league take unexpected turns. The ‘undefeated’ teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, came across their first losses of the season. On the other hand, underdogs are coming into the limelight. Amidst all the chaos unfolding, analyst Colin Cowherd has a strong opinion against the Eagles, making the fans upset. The Eagles’ fans already had high expectations from the previous year’s NFC champions.

However, the season’s first loss against the 3-3 Jets came as an immense shock. The 5-1 Eagles with offense linemen like Jalen Hurts and De Andre Swift were dominating the field. Hence, when they heard Cowherd trash-talking about the team, it was natural for them to be unhappy.

Colin Cowherd has some problems with the Eagles’

In his recent video that took Twitter by storm, Colin Cowherd on his podcast ‘The Volume’, talked about the Eagles losing the Jets. As per him, the problem is much larger than Philadelphia losing one game. “I thought they got a little exposed today. Philadelphia hasn’t played a complete game all season. They had a really good second half against Tampa. They had halves and series,” said the analyst. He further talked about the head coach Sirianni and their former offensive coordinator Shane Steichen. Cowherd asserted that the current Eagles’ offense is not good too, due to the current OC.

Furthermore, Cowherd believes that the Eagles are dominating the media and not the field. The reason for it being their popularity for playing big games like the Super Bowl LVII.“Philadelphia is a big game, big city, loud media, and a pressurized organization.” 

Well, when a team has a fanbase like the Eagles, it is not easy to present criticism about their team, let alone call them a team that survives mainly because of its publicity. As a result, the podcaster has received a lot of negative comments for his thoughts.

Fans, too, have some problems with Cowherd

The loyal Eagles’ fanbase did not agree with what Cowherd had to say about their team. So much so that they called him a ‘joke’.

Along with this, another fan page agreed to the joke part, calling the whole thing ‘crazy’.

Another fan chipped in with a rather direct opinion about Cowherd admitting that he hates the Eagles.

Furthermore, scottlynch4771 commented, “Eagles obsessed with passing sums up the new coaching in Philadelphia. I’ve been screaming at my tv all year. Howie needs to make the coaches watch a coaching video based on Andy Reid.”
