There are a lot of hot takes on AJ Brown as the Philadelphia Eagles upset Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins in a one-sided back. A lot happened in this game, new jerseys came out, the Eagles’ offense seemed more pressurizing, and AJ Brown broke a 50-year-old record in just the last 4 games he played. Suddenly, his popularity is off the roof and the NFL pundits have a lot to say about the WR1.

After the game, the Undisputed hosts Skip Bayless, Michael Irvin, and Keyshawn Johnson had a debate about the game in question. Some things about Jalen Hurts came up in the process and Brown is doing more than you think. As they say, ‘Give that man a pay raise’.

Mike Irvin mentions how he had a ‘peaceful’ time watching the game. The game turned out to be quite educational for Irvin and after absorbing the game, he was ready to talk all about it. Irvin and Bayless addressed how the Eagles have their own ’11 from heaven’, AJ Brown, comparing him to Micah Parsons of the Cowboys. Irvin mentioned how the Philly team set the tone of the game from early on. Per him, Philly stepped on the field with a ‘give them pain’ mentality and made it difficult for the Dolphins to set foot in their territory. However, it’s what ’11 from Heaven’ did that captivates Irving and the gang.

Irvin dubbed AJ Brown as AB11 and said, ‘This is a bad boy right here’. He mentions how the 6’4 ‘monster’ is not only making plays but is also covering up for Jalen Hurts. How? By catching passes that were not on the mark, saving Jalen Hurts in the process, and sweeping his ‘blemishes’ under the rug. ‘It’s the kind of catches he is making that he is covering any blemish on Jalen Hurts’. Brown’s ability to convert passes and make plays is exceptional and the Undisputed hosts have no dispute about the matter.

Not only this, Brown just came out of the game breaking some records along the way.

The unstoppable WR1

AJ Brown, after this game, broke Hall of Famer Calvin Johnson’s record of capturing more than 125 receiving yards. This is something that Calvin Johnson did back in 2012. The record was first created in 1970 after the NFL merger. He now has 809 receiving yards to his name along with 3 touchdowns in the 2023 season. Tennessee Titans might be regretting their decision to let AJ Brown go to the Eagles back in 2022. It is safe to say that AJ Brow is really elevating the Eagles’ offense.

Earlier, scoring touchdowns used to be a daunting task for the Eagles, but this time they came around with multiple of them. Also, this game was very symbolic for the Eagles, as with their new jersey, they made an effort to commemorate the old traditions and golden times. Not to mention that they bounced back from the unsuspected defeat against the Jets.
