Cowboys LB Micah Parsons Analyzes ‘Weekend’ Misery, Gears up to Tackle Zeke-Led Patriots up Next

After a disappointing 28-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Dallas Cowboys’ rising star LB Micah Parsons and team dives deeper into the wreckage caused by the defeat. Some careless mistakes by the Cowboys cost them 13 penalties for 107 yards while combining the first two games, they only had 11 penalties in total. The gridiron holds no pity, and the next challenge looms large.

Parsons speaking to the media identified the mistakes of the last game and talked about tackling Ezekiel Elliott aka Zeke in the next game against the New England Patriots. Can Parsons and the Cowboys flip the script against a formidable opponent?

In a recent interview, Parsons was asked “What went wrong with the run defense?”  “We were just beating ourselves,” responded Parsons describing the team’s loss to the Cardinals last week in perfect words. Despite too many penalties, the team mainly lost due to poor run defense.

“Everything is getting fixed and we are looking forward to proving it this week”. It seems Parsons and the team have learned from the errors and want to fix them. They look forward to the upcoming game and prove to everyone that they are getting on track.

“Any excitement to tackle Zeke?” the media person asked. “He is just my dog, I know its like all love” “We just go out there and compete”  Parsons, calling his former teammate “my dog,” shows respect between former teammates even when he is now an opponent.

RB Ezekiel Elliott, who served the Cowboys for seven years, finally was released in March this year to join the New England Patriots. He will be facing his former teammates in the next game at AT&T Stadium on Monday.

Dallas Cowboys have an upper hand over the rival Patriots in the NFL, both have played 14 times in total, with the Patriots winning 6 games and the Cowboys winning 8 games. NFL ranked their rivalry to be the tenth best in the NFL Top 10.

The upcoming clash will be their 15th match. The Cowboys want to recover from last week’s loss and give fans hope for the league. Emotions will be high.
