Skip Bayless is back at it again. The world is still mourning America’s team’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers, and more than anyone else, the biggest self-proclaimed Dallas Cowboys fan, Skip Bayless, had some things to say that were not just a tad bit controversial. In the past, he advised Jerry Jones to give Trey Lance a chance as a QB1, then he threw the Dak Prescott jersey in the bin, and now there is more.

There are a lot of eyebrow-raising questions surrounding Dak Prescott and his tenure with the Cowboys. However, no one is more affirmative than Jerry Jones about Prescott’s stay with the Cowboys. There is a lot of slander in the air, and Bayless just added more to it in an episode of Undisputed.

Well, Bayless is pretty static about his stance and the Cowboys’ management. The undisputed hosts started talking about the Cowboys’ defense. Per Bayless, the America’s Team’s defense is its strong suit, to the point of defense being labeled as the Cowboys’ offense as it worked in the game against the Giants, the Patriots, and the Jets. He blatantly starts by saying, “It carried us nowhere on the Sunday night in San Francisco, straight to the toilet”. Of course, he refers to the much-talked-about Cowboys defense here.

Bayless is still in two minds about who to blame. The team’s performance has led him to conclude that Mike McCarthy is not to blame here, but rather, it is Prescott who should be sat down for some answers. Bayless comes up with the strange statistic of putting 75% blame on Dak Prescott and 25% on Mike McCarthy. To his defense, Bayless digs through past records. As it turns out, Prescott had 15 interceptions last year, despite the fact that he only played five games.

At some point, we must give the benefit of the doubt to Mike McCarthy. He took the initiative to try to fix anything that was wrong with the Cowboys’ offense. But unfortunately, per Bayless, the results speak otherwise. The ‘Texas Coast Offense’ was dubbed the ‘Texas Toast Offense’ by Bayless and his cohorts. This was the worst defeat the Cowboys have faced in the span of this rivalry.

Add to this Shannon Sharpe’s comments on Dak Prescott’s incentive-based contract. According to him, Prescott shouldn’t have an incentive in his contract because, at this point, it is his responsibility to take the Cowboys to the Super Bowl. The $1 million dollar contract hasn’t been fruitful to Prescott; the only thing it got is more trouble in his way. Not to forget Prescott getting called ‘A**’ on national TV by LeSean McCoy.

Prescott might be having quite a crisis at this point because it’s crazy how one game against the 49ers crushed him from all sides. Hopefully, the Cowboys will be able to use their defense as the offense in the game against the LA Chargers.
