The San Francisco 49ers have continued their winning streak in the Week 5 game as well. The Niners dominated the Dallas Cowboys with a 42-10 lead. In the past two seasons, San Francisco has been the reason behind Dallas being knocked out of the playoffs, so this early matchup in the season definitely bore some intrigue before it even started. The Niners QB Brock Purdy found his way around the league’s most ungenerous defense.

Additionally, the 49ers defense had Dak Prescott on his heels for the whole night. He was sacked three times and was intercepted three times as well. Moreover, the Niners TE George Kittle also became the 49ers player since 2009 to score three touchdowns in one game. That’s still not all, though, the Niners also broke one NFL record after defeating Dallas.

The 49ers are currently on the longest active winning streak in the NFL right now. The team has won 14 consecutive games since the Week 8 of 2022. This is also the second-longest win streak in the history of the franchise, and they’re already on their way to breaking that as well. In the Week 6 game of the season, the Niners will definitely look to tie it up with their previous record.

Before this, the Niners held a 15-win streak record that was made in Week 12 of 1989, and it continued till Week 10 of 1990. So, they have two more consecutive wins to go, to break the franchise record, and Purdy may be looking to make history with better shot-calling moving forward.

The team currently has a perfect 5-0 score on the leaderboard, besides San Francisco, the Philadelphia Eagles are the only team with an undefeated streak going on this season. All of this happened because of the accuracy displayed by the QB Brock Purdy on the field.

The QB Brock Purdy addresses his accurate passes

The Niners shot caller Brock Purdy has a significant ability that is essential for every quarterback. It is to be able to scan the field for his teammates and make good calls with the ball. And that’s what Purdy did the best against the Dallas Cowboys. His keen sense of awareness even pushed George Kittle to set up a personal record with three TDs in one game.

Purdy said, “I mean he was doing a good job in calling plays, ao I could just take a quick drop, get the ball out, get into a rhythm and so obviously, for me I’m willing to throw every down. In terms having a balance offense run the ball. It’s what we have to do and so I felt good early on. I actually felt like I missed a couple throws.” So, Purdy still had some room for improvement that he could do in his gameplay.
