The Los Angeles Rams made their score even, with their Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts. At first, the Rams were enjoying a 23-0 lead going into the third quarter of the game, but then the Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson pulled his gear to drag his team out of the mire. The Colts managed to tie the score by the end of the fourth quarter, which sent the game into overtime. But most of the credit goes to the rookie WR Puka Nacua who guided the team to the road victory.

Puka Nacua became the star of the night as Indianapolis didn’t have any reply to his 9 receptions at 163 yards and also the one touchdown in the overtime. The fans couldn’t control their excitement, however, there was one more special person in Nacua’s life who was rooting for him all throughout the game.

The Samoan Wide Receiver met his girlfriend at a friend’s mutual gathering, and since then, he’s developed a keen interest in Hallie Aiono. In 2022, both of them made their relationship official on social media. They both try to support each other in their endeavors as much as they can. Nacua is moving forward, becoming the most promising rookie in the league right now.

He currently holds the record of catching 39 passes and 501 yards in just four games, which is the most for any rookie in NFL history. Moreover, this Sunday, he even scored the first touchdown of his career, as on a third down in overtime, the QB Matthew Stafford passed the ball to Nacua who successfully ran for a 22-yard TD. His girlfriend was in tears as his boyfriend took the ball through the end zone.

She shared her reaction on her Instagram Story, where she wrote, “Watching my boyfriend score his first NFL touchdown.” The story was later posted by the official NFL account on X (Formerly Twitter) The fans also had a great response to his girlfriend’s reaction. On Sunday, he even earned the respect of his Head Coach as he offered the WR the game ball.

Sean McVay gives due credit to rookie WR for the victory

The Rams head coach made a victory speech after the 2-2 Los Angeles Rams gave a splendid performance to the fans. Sean McVay gave a game ball in the locker room to the quarterback, Matthew Stafford, and also to the defensive lineman Aaron Donald and then he gave it to the best rookie of the Rams.

Sean McVay said, “Clutch production performance, making big plays over the middle. Snap in and snap out and ended being able to close out the game.” Then Puka Nacua came running to take the ball and hugged the head coach for such an honor. There’s no doubt that the rookie has definitely made an impact in just four weeks of his time with the team.
