However, the team seems to love the one move that they have mastered, ‘Tush Push’. The team uses the trick, however, it has mixed reactions among the viewers and the stakeholders of the NFL, having caused quite a bit of controversy this season.

The renowned move ‘Tush Push’ also termed as the ‘Brotherly Shove’ amongst the Eagles fanbase, is causing ripples across the NFL. As the Eagles have mastered the trick now, it has definitely received attention from everyone. Due to its popularity and widespread success, more and more teams have tried to execute the move. The move has been attempted 36 times already with a success rate of 81 percent.

However, recently Dov Kleiman took to his X (Formerly Twitter) account to report bad news for the Eagles. He tweeted that now the NFLPA is expressing concern over the move’s overall safety. He captioned, “Two #Giants players, rookie Center John Michael Schmitz and TE Daniel Bellinger got injured trying to execute the play on Monday Night Football against the #Seahawks, causing concern.”

Due to this reason, the NFLPA is already skeptical about banning this move altogether post this season. But that raises the question, what’s the Eagles’ next move if this gets banned? Previously, the head coach of the team, Nick Sirriaani, also shared his thoughts about the play.

Sirriaani said the play is not automatic
With the rising popularity of the play, the HC had to comment on it. He said that the move has worked out really great for the team. However, he added that it is not as easy as people think. He said, “It’s not as automatic as people think, as we’re seeing across the NFL.”
He also commented on the thoughts of it getting banned. He said that it’s not officially illegal so they’re preparing the team for whatever is coming up. The HC also did not forget to applaud the players who actually carried out the move. He said, “There is clearly a talent to it that our guys have.”
