After just two seasons, the era of Zach Wilson came to an end. He was decided to sit on the bench by the New York Jets. The 23-year-old was not permitted to start in New York’s contest with the Bears. As a result, they chose Mike White, a QB who is 27 years old, to start the game.

Additionally, it appears that his colleagues are content that they have a fresh player leading them. Making their supporters think that benching Wilson was a wise move.

Many Jets players wore “Mike F’n White” T-shirts. The Green Gang was traveling to Minnesota to face the Vikings. Fans had mixed reactions when they saw the apparel the athletes sported. Some thought the design was a dig at the former quarterback.

This fan does not think that the T-shirts are in any way disrespectful to the benched QB.

This fan was of the opinion that the teammates have chosen their new favorite QB. Therefore, Wilson lost the support of his teammates.

New York announced White, their new QB last week after the team faced a loss against the New England Patriots.

The South Florida product immediately worked his magic against the Chicago Bears. NY Jets won by 31-10 and he had 315 yards in passing and three touchdown passes. His commendable performance earned him praise from his teammates and chants from the audience.

However, the Jets could only depend on their defense. Whatever problems Wilson faced were internal. In the 13-13 loss against the Patriots, he only completed 9-of-22 passes for 72 yards. They sacked him four times. Also, many reports said that teammates did not appreciate how Wolson acted “like he isn’t the problem.”
