The Zach Wilson dilemma
The 23-year-old young quarterback does not have a good performance to back up his desire to retain the QB1 spot for the Jets. Last season, they benched Wilson after his poor performance became evident against the New England Patriots. While the team had good players in terms of their roster, their main link at the quarterback position failed to shine for the team.
The Jets have been working around to bring in more offensive arsenal to the team. With the recent signings of Packers WR Allen Lazard and Chiefs player Mecole Hardman, it seems that the team is figuring out the perfect pieces of the puzzle for A-Rod’s arrival. But Wilson has said that he will not make it easy even if the four-time MVP arrives. Despite the learning curve is high for the young player, it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds for the team as the new season commences.
