The NFL is head over heels right now as the GOAT has returned for yet another season. Tom Brady recently took to social media to announce his plans to un-retire and run it back with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 2022 season will be more than what was expected before and the fans can’t simply catch their breath for it.

The Bucs is the happiest team right now, as the heart and soul of the team has finally taken a decision to become an eighth-time Super Bowl winner with the franchise. However, just the day before, the 44-year-old veteran was spotted in Old Trafford to watch the Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur matchup.
Cristiano Ronaldo asked Tom Brady about his return plans
During that game, the ManU star and soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hattrick against the Harry Kane led Spurs. And since Tom Brady was there to spectate, the two GOATs had a brief chat after the game. In a tweet shared by The Athlete Show, Tom Brady posted a story in which Ronaldo was asking Brady about his future and the NFL veteran gave a very bleak answer.
Though the audio of the clip was not all perfect, but The Athletic reporter Greg Auman did confirm that Ronaldo, in fact, asked Brady “You’re finished, right?” And that he answered the question with “a shrug of hesitation.” Doesn’t it sound like he had the return ticket to the NFL already planned?
I can’t make out what Brady says at the end, but the question is definitely “you’re finished, right?”and there’s a shrug of hesitation/grimace from Brady. (video from his Instagram story) https://t.co/0ZTz7Chzrf

The exceptional performance of the soccer star in the field might have revoked Brady’s innermost desires to rip the gridiron and fetch another Super Bowl out of it. Or maybe he already had it all well planned.
