Soon enough, fans might get privy to never-before-seen sides of Aaron Rodgers if Twitter chatter is to be believed. Rodgers himself chimed in, saying if they gave fans access to a day in his life, it would be like “The Office,” where he would be Jim Harper, and David Bakhtiari would be Dwight Schrute.

So it all started when Joe Pavelski, the center for Dallas Stars, was replying to a sports media initiative called TorchPro, which gives the fans “unprecedented access” to the lives of athletes. TorchPro has a series called, “UNTAPPED: Day in the Life of” and they took to Twitter to ask which athletes they should feature next.

If we are to go with Rodgers’ analogy, it seems like he goes around pranking David Bakhtiari a lot. Like Jim used to constantly get under Dwight’s skin, by either completely impersonating Dwight for a day or putting a case around his stapler. Or when Jim called in an actor-friend to play him, just to troll Dwight into thinking that Jim is Asian and not American. He even got Pam to play the part.

How Does Aaron Rodgers Even Plans These Pranks?

Even Aaron Rodgers went a great length to prank David Bakhtiari. In his rookie season, Bakhtiari went to dinner with his new teammates, including his star QB. Rodgers, however, had mischievous plans for the evening. He convinced the maître d’ to give Bakhtiari a fake bill that totaled $11,000+. And apparently, it was pre-decided that the rookies will pay for the dinner. So for a few moments there, A completely Jim-esque move.

And just like Dwight would retaliate with something even more elaborate and funny, years later, David Bakhtiari got back at the 4-time MVP. It was a running gag on Pat McAfee’s show that Bakhtiari is not a good gifter. So he proved them wrong. But not the one you just imagined. He gave Rodgers an Aston Martin golf cart, the one “he always wanted.”

This back and forth is good TV. Imagine if there was a camera running around Aaron Rodgers while he talks and convinces the maître d’. And after getting it done, he looks at the camera, just like Jim. It would be the best thing. And then getting to see the reaction would be something else. This show is writing itself.
