It was a hard pill to swallow when TE Rob Gronkowski made his decision to retire once in for all. While Brady vowed to come back, everyone thought that for at least one more season, Gronkowski would stick to the sport.

But unfortunately, the fans have no other choice than to accept the reality. Recently, the seven-time Super Bowl champion sat for a fun segment called Mr. Armchair QB on the Buccaneers’ YouTube channel, where he gave solutions to all the problems asked by the fans.

However, something was missing in the entire setup, and it was none other than Gronk himself. No more “friendship tests.” It was just Brady alone chatting with the fans on a comfy armchair.

However, Gronk made sure that he surprised Brady with a recorded video snippet asking for his advice for putting on a tattoo. Well, this turned out to be an opportunity for Brady to make a move and recruit him back in the best possible way ever.

He asked Gronkowski to have a tattoo of a rising Phoenix on his back, resembling his attitude towards life and the achievements he had throughout the journey. “The Rising Phoenix is about overcoming adversity, rising through the ashes, and claiming your glory, all the which I hope you really want to do at some point,” Brady said in the interview.

” If there’s one thing that would inspire you, don’t think about your teammates. Don’t think about this amazing facility. The free food you’d get the freak swagging gear that we get from a man’s breath. Think about returning to glory and what that Rising Phoenix could do on your big back. That’s my challenge to you.” he added.

“Tommy, way to turn that one around, you’re driving a hard bargain now! Mr. Armchair QB, making moves even while sitting on the chair.” Gronk wrote on Twitter. In fact, a few days ago, his long-time agent Drew Rosenhaus hinted at the possibility of Gronk making a comeback.

Moreover, this was not the first time the 33-year-old had pulled out something like this. Back in 2020, he came out of retirement to join Brady in the Buccaneers. Well, it was fruitful in all aspects by winning a Super Bowl title. The question is; will he return to celebrate Brady’s last campaign in the NFL?
