The Aaron Rodgers trade saga erupted way before the Super Bowl had a definite winner. Since the end of the Green Bay Packers’ season, it’s been all about the quarterback and what he’ll do next. Several might believe that a location change is workable, and some teams would require a veteran quarterback. New York Jets co-owner Woody Johnson was at the NFL Honors in Phoenix, Arizona. Johnson encountered some questions about their franchise’s ongoing search in the offseason. As per the team’s website, the team is looking for a veteran quarterback, and HC Robert Saleh made it clear.

Johnson said, “You want the best QB that you can get to lead the Jets… I can’t really talk about him, because he’s a member of another club, but everybody recognizes talent when they see it.”

The New York Jets may look like an ideal destination for Rodgers. The roster showcased the potential to go head-to-head against a top-tier franchise this year. However, Zach Wilson could be the reason for their plunge this season. The franchise would look for some seasoned authority, and A-Rod looks like a fit.
