The last-minute game-winning field goal by Harrison Butker handed the Chiefs a great 38-35 victory, slaying the Eagles in an unfortunate manner. This game holds utmost prominence in the record books because Mahomes gave his best, pouring out every ounce of willpower. His wife, Brittany Mahomes’ happiness knew no bounds, appreciating her hubby with a thoughtful tweet.

This would be the second Super Bowl title of Patrick Mahomes in a short span of six years. It was an all-round performance from the entire Chiefs kingdom. The offense, defense, and special teams played synchronously to lift the ultimate Lombardi Trophy. “MY BABY DID IT!!!!!” Brittany shared the tweet as soon as the Chiefs made their final move. One of the prime reasons Mahomes will cherish this victory is because of the situation he was in.

The quarterback struggled with immense pain after incurring a hit to his sprained ankle. Eagles’ linebacker T. J Edwards brought him down during the second quarter just a few minutes before the first-half whistle.

Subsequently, he got back into the locker room. Despite all those setbacks, Mahomes didn’t budge from his intentions and rushed across the field, making unbelievable plays. All those scrambles and no-look passes got executed flawlessly in the second half. However, fans were reluctant to accept the reality and blamed the referees for calling unnecessary flags.

Well, it is yet to be seen how inappropriate those calls were, till then angry fans can rest assured because “Better Luck next time!”. When the half-time whistle broke out, the Chiefs were in an adverse situation trailing with a 10 points deficit (14-24). Moreover, Mahomes’ injury added more worried among the KC fans.

But the wide receiver Kadarius Toney came out as the last-minute savior pulling out the longest 65-yard punt return in the fourth quarter. It turned out to be the longest-ever punt return in Super Bowl history, making all the difference for HC Andy Reid to get back on track.

With this win, Mahomes improved his Super Bowl record to 2-1 and avenged his frustrating loss against Tom Brady in 2021. The MVP of the season had no words to express his emotions while speaking in the post-game interview.

“We played our a*es off in that second half. We found a way. I just want to thank everyone. We battled to the f*** end.” Mahomes said, per The Express.

“Not one of y’all said the chiefs were gonna take it home this year. Not one of y’all. Feel that sh*t. Feel it and on top of that, next time the chiefs say something, put some respect on our names.” he added. Kudos to the Chiefs kingdom for their incredible achievement.
