In the past, the linebacker has made some bizarre statements about taking over the offense of the Cowboys. However, this time, Parsons has outdone himself. While it might seem like a minor change, this has been a much-awaited change for NFL players. Furthermore, Parsons himself spoke about wanting to partake in this change for the Cowboys. While the jersey number seems to be an ordinary aspect of the game, the number on a player’s back is a huge part of their superstitions.

Furthermore, this is a historic moment for the NFL as this is the first time in history that the players would be allowed to rep a zero on their jerseys. Hence, the excitement Parsons had seemed very natural.

All in all, Cowboys nation as well as NFL fans weren’t kind to the linebacker’s requests. They made it clear that someone else deserves to wear the coveted number in Dallas.
