Who knew there’s more to the NFL than just football? Star running backs from the Seahawks and Buccaneers are going to lock horns in an exhibition boxing match- set to take place on 30th July. The match would take place at the crypto.com arena in Los Angeles, California. Le’Veon Bell revealed the details of the boxing match on his Twitter through a post.

Boxing has long been a passion for Bell. He had used boxing as an active cardio workout during his time with the Steelers. His zeal for boxing increased when he took some time off from football in 2018.

Referring to his fascination for boxing, Bell said, “I want my body to be in great shape so as the season comes closer you’ll start seeing that form to take shape. Boxing is just to help with my cardio and my stamina. It’s a little different than football, and I try to stay off my joints in the offseason as much as possible. Still get cardio.”

Although it is unclear if Peterson is also undergoing some boxing training, Bell has surely been practicing his moves for quite some time. Referring to his drills, he said, “Instead of cutting and doing a lot of drills, I’ve been doing a lot of boxing training.”
