It is a clash between two generational talents this Sunday when Joe Burrow will face the Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady at the Raymond James Stadium. While it is the first time Burrow will play against Brady, the youngster doesn’t feel any pressure but instead vows to play better and improve their season record to 10-4.

The clash between AFC North and the NFC South happens to be a blockbuster match-up, especially when Burrow’s name is often linked with Brady. Although the GOAT has nothing else left to achieve, the veteran will still look at getting a win and washout the sting from the last game against the Niners.

Joe Burrow praises Brady

Meanwhile, Burrow, who spoke in the build-up press conference didn’t leave much room for reporters to draw comparisons or insinuate unnecessary expectations. ” It is what it is. You don’t really pay attention to it. He’s Tom and I’m Joe,” Burrow said of his counterpart.

“I think he epitomizes toughness at the quarterback position. And he’s a great leader. I mean, he’s the greatest of all time for a reason. He’s the total package.” he added, praising the quarterback.

Burrow further mentioned that he loves to play the game in his own style; however, doesn’t rule out the fact that he is a bit of everybody. It’s not the one thing, Burrow specializes in, and he loves to adopt skills from every other passer playing in the league. Currently, the Bengals are toe-to-toe with the Ravens in the AFC North with nine wins and four losses.

However hard Burrow might try to deny his fanboying moments with Tom Brady and his attitude towards the game, netizens have been spotting the similarities between these quarterbacks.

Bengals center Ted Karras who played with Brady in the past affirmed that Burrow has been disciplined, and his killer instincts draw much resemblance. “They’re both extremely adept at that. Joe has relationships with everybody on this team, probably a little bit more so than Tom just being the same age as a lot of guys.” Karras said.

Well, it is yet to be seen how well both fare against each other when they meet for the first time. If Burrow seals a win, it will be a cherishing moment for his life; otherwise, as usual, the GOAT will have one more candidate in his ‘slayed’ list of quarterbacks.
