Deion Sanders has been facing a tough time in the past few days. While his dreams of making the Colorado Football program a successful one continue, his health has become a massive concern in the hopes of bringing the program out of its trenches. Back with Jackson State, Coach Prime won two SWAC championships, and he hopes to emulate the same in Colorado. However, there are people who doubt the impact of the legendary coach, but Sanders never seems to back down from any challenge.
While Deion Sanders continues tackling his personal health crisis, he still hopes to excel in the upcoming debut season for the Buffaloes. And at the same time, Coach Prime is doing his best to retain the faith of Colorado fans. Along with that he also keeps haters in check with his direct statements.

Ever since the 55-year-old joined Colorado in a massive five-year $30 million contract as the HC, there have been major waves of changes going on. The acquisition of Coach Prime led to a staggering 700 percent increase in merchandise sales for the Colorado football program as well as season tickets.
Apart from this, many other college coaches, including Pittsburgh HC Pat Narduzzi, have gone on to criticize Deion Sanders. This was after the massive exodus of players in the NCAA transfer portal. And now, his latest social media post seems to be a vote of confidence for fans. It seems to state that despite everything, his mission to revive the football program’s glory is still going strong.
Sanders took to Instagram to share a post that included photos of him with the Colorado Buffaloes. The series of photos show memories of his time with the Buffaloes. Coach Prime posted a long caption with the post that talked about how his “calling is to bring people together that necessarily wouldn’t be together” and to “build young men into responsible men with Character & Reason.” He talked about the change he envisions not for himself but for the whole of the Colorado football community, and this is why others are afraid of the things he’s doing.

He went on to state, “You can’t stop me from Loving my team and You can’t stop them from Loving me back”, indicating that they all plan on working together to achieve glory and success.
This powerful post comes from Sanders, days after he had foot surgery addressing problems after amputating two of his toes two years ago.

Coach Prime decided to have the surgery after consulting with his medical team about how he cannot feel anything below his left foot. The surgery took place to address the problems of massive blood clots that took place on his foot. While the worst-case scenario if the medical scare worsens is amputation for Sanders, he still continues to keep a positive attitude towards everything being fine.
And even his long-time girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, has been by Sanders’ side throughout his surgery and discharge from the hospital. Edmonds even posted on Instagram stating that she would not leave her boyfriend’s bedside in the hospital until he fully recovers from the surgery.
As Sanders now continues his journey of recovery from the surgery, one might ponder how it is going to affect his plans of helping the Colorado football program come out of its slump.
