Tom Brady certainly knows a thing or two about winning the Super Bowl championship. He laid his thoughts out in the open about the current champions Kansas City Chiefs. His opinions should not fall on deaf ears as Patrick Mahomes and co. can learn a lot from TB10’s championship mindset.
Brady famously spent the first 20 seasons of his career at New England Patriots winning the Super Bowl 6 times. Then, moving to Tampa Bay Buccaneers he conquered one more Super Bowl victory. The record holder with 5 Super Bowl MVP rings was outspoken at a recent event with Patrick Bet David.

Patrick Bet-David has been one of the foremost interviewers for athletes on the internet. His method of letting the guests speak freely has attracted the likes of Kobe Bryant, Francis Ngannou, Georges St. Pierre, and many more. In his latest upload, his guest is 7-time Super Bowl winner and perhaps the most known NFL player in history, Tom Brady
Brady opened up about his mindset which led him to glorious achievements throughout his career. Tom Terrific stated, “I did have something inside of me that no one could see from the outside this level of discipline that I could accomplish something that was really important and really special but not let it get to my head and not to think that I’ve arrived or to think that I’m something different or better than anyone else.”
TB10’s mindset to not consider himself or his team the champions was an interesting one, he told PBD and the audience “The good part in football is the next year you start right back at the bottom”. He implied the same for the current champions. “Kansas City Chiefs they’re not the Super Bowl champs this year they were the Super Bowl champs last year”.

The Chiefs would benefit a lot if they were able to inculcate this mindset with their team structure as well. Especially, after the rocky start they have had this season.

Winner’s attitude
Kansas City Chiefs superstar QB Patrick Mahomes grew up watching Tom Brady and told NBC Sports earlier this year that he will “strive to get as close as I can” to Brady’s seven championship wins. The goal is worth achieving but he should also keep in mind, Brady’s warning.
The Chiefs suffered a shock defeat against the Lions in the season opener, though they have bounced back with their win against the Jaguars. With their next game against The Bears, it’ll benefit them to keep reminding themselves that they are not the guaranteed champions. They must work hard again to get there. They are looking to be the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since Brady’s Patriots in 2003 and 2004. Only time will tell if they are successful in their quest.
