After missing out on his regular Tuesday appearance, Aaron Rodgers showed up on this week’s Pat McAfee Show. The ex-NFL Punter had questions lined up, circulating about his football career’s future. A-Rod hailed McAfee’s journalistic instincts and commended him as a media personality.
Aaron Rodgers mentioned, “That’s about eight different questions, so I’m trying to figure out which one I want to attack first. You are really becoming a media personality there, Pat. All that work on game day is paying off for you… Always fun being in Chicago. Always fun winning in Soldier Field. Good comeback for us in the fourth quarter. We played winning football. I think that the thing that feels good is being able to play meaningful games in December.”
“It’s been obviously a difficult season; frustrating but the fact that we’re now in the mid-December and we have meaningful games coming up. It’s great, obviously. We need some help from some teams and have to win out. But there’s a lot that can change in a week, and if the momentum can start to go in our favor, we can stack a couple of these in a row,” He added.

As per the Wisconsin State Journal, if Rodgers returns for the 2023 season, Jordan Love will not settle as a fallback option for yet another season. He could ask for a trade. But it’s unclear what the Packers could get in return. Additionally, Love is aware of the Packers’ schematics and could flourish in Green Bay. Everything hinges on A-Rod’s decision for 2023.
