The 33-year-old has hurt his hamstring and the NFL media reported it to be a serious one.

A replacement for the star QB is a challenge, as there aren’t many top free agents available at the moment. However, there is an opportunity for the 2016 Super Bowl 50 champions to get a valuable addition to the team. They have to approach the Seattle Seahawks once again to make it work. According to NFL analysts and rumors, Broncos may look up to the #2 QB as a potential replacement. The 25-year-old is a young prospect who is hungry to go this season.
What happened to Russell Wilson and Broncos?
The Broncos mustered just 258 yards of total offense. It was a repeat of last week’s performance. What has hurt them is the injury to their top QB. Wilson underwent an MRI. He is considered day-to-day for recovery. There is no clarity about his participation in the next game.
“It got me pretty good in the fourth quarter, but you know, just tried to play through it and all that,” said Wilson. The experienced campaigner is in pain but is pushing to play. Meanwhile, the Professor recorded a touchdown, completed 15 of 28 passes, and covered 188 yards in Monday’s loss.
