She is now living a divorced life after a split with her ex-husband Tom Brady. But years before the divorce, she once revealed the golden words that helped her bring back her infectious energy after another heartbreak.

Bündchen is putting her energy into her work and her causes along with the kids after her much-publicized split. But it was another split that made her think about some life-changing words back in the day.

Gisele Bündchen brought back her infectious energy through a golden quote. After going through a tumultuous period with then-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio, she remembered life-changing advice from a friend. And that helped her feel better in an overwhelming period of uncertainty.

“A wise friend of mine once told me something I’ve never forgotten. Gisele, he said, you have to give people the dignity of their own process. I think about those words a lot,” Bündchen wrote in her 2018 memoir ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’.

Those words sure made the Brazilian native go on a soul-searching mission. And, in the end, Bündchen made some hard choices that led her onto a very different journey than what fans anticipated at that time. She broke up with DiCaprio in 2005 and went on to marry NFL legend Tom Brady in 2009. The fans then saw the ever-energetic supermodel once again.

Bündchen is never someone shy of making hard calls. She made several decisions during the course of her marriage with the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

A marriage full of choices with Tom Brady 

Gisele Bündchen chose some tough paths during her relationship with Tom Brady. She decided to raise the QB’s oldest son Jack as her own after Brady’s ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan gave birth to the boy after their breakup. That would have surely gotten TB12 a lot closer to her.

When Jack and Vivian came into the picture, she took a hiatus from active modeling to focus on her family. She left when she was at the top of her game as the highest-paid model in the world. That helped Brady to carry on collecting championship rings with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The decision to divorce would also have been tough.

Brady and Bündchen are on their separate paths after the divorce. While the supermodel has returned to modeling, the QB hung up his cleats after the 2022 season. Both are giving their hundred percent energy to whatever they pursue.
