Brady was asked by the NFL to make a video for spreading awareness regarding gambling policies. The video will be shown by every team in the league at their facilities. NFL decided to broadcast its message as there has been a significant rise in players getting caught involved with gambling.

It is very expected of NFL to push their policy a bit harder, but using Brady as the main face isn’t well received by the fans. Brady’s history of investing in collapsed companies and also involvement in the Deflategate scam are significant red flags.

Why is NFL suddenly pushing the gambling policy?

NFL has a good reason for enforcing the gambling policy, as there have been one too many instances in the league recently. Jameson Williams, wide receiver of the Detroit Lions was suspended for 6 games for violating the policy. A few days ago, it was also reported that Isiah Rodgers, cornerback of the Indianapolis Colts is under investigation for possible betting.

The league management is doing everything possible so that the young or influenced players do not make a huge mistake in the upcoming season. And the obvious choice was Brady as he is still the most influential athlete in the league. Young players and fans definitely look up to the GOAT, so he was the perfect choice. Brady talked about how betting on games affects the image of the team and the league, and he also urged the players to not make a mistake that could ruin their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
