As per Ian Rapoport, “[Davante Adams] has been charged with a city ordinance violation, which is a little lower than a state misdemeanor assault charge, per the prosecutor’s office. It carries a fine of $250 to $1K or up to 180 days in jail or both.”

According to ESPN, freelance photographer Ryan Zebley sustained whiplash, a headache, and a possibly moderate concussion because of the incident. Zebley went to the Arrowhead cops after he got shoved. He claimed to be a victim of assault, which led to him filing a police report.

Davante Adams issued an apology in the locker room and on Twitter. However, he would still face the consequences.
