The Kansas City Chiefs made sure that this year they prove to the world that they are the best team in the league. Kansas City played marvelously throughout the season. They won the AFC West Championship Game. Consequently, saved a seat for themselves in the playoffs. Then from there, it was a rocky yet swift ride to the Super Bowl LVII. And on February 12, the most important night for the Chiefs, they finally showed how powerful they are. To give an answer to the haters, the team’s star TE, Travis Kelce, picked up the mic. But kind of contradicted a statement the team’s QB made.

As is the custom, the team members went around Kansas City to show off and celebrate their big win. While Patrick Mahomes was chugging beer and going berserk, Kelce explained what inspired them to win another Lombardi Trophy.

The four-time First-team All-Pro revealed that many people did not trust the team. Some even thought that they would not advance to the playoffs.

Even though Kansas City has emerged as a powerhouse in the last five years, the initial months of the 2022 season were a little rough for them. They

lost their skilled player, Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, and then they made changes to their receiving corps. There was a lot of outside noise that told them that their rivals will take them down.

But fast-forward to the 14-3 game when they defeated the Jaguars. They then took care of the rest by defeating their forever rivals: the Cincinnati Bengals. Then eventually, the Chiefs emerged as the better team in the Super Bowl against the Eagles. This makes Kelce believe that they are on the trajectory of becoming a sporting dynasty. As per NFL.com, he said, “Everybody asking if this is a dynasty — it’s been a dynasty — y’all just didn’t know this s— until now. Believe that s—, feel that s—”

Fans disagree with Kelce because Mahomes thinks the team is still trying to find their ground

But there were fans online who did not reciprocate the same thoughts as the 33-year-old tight end. That is mostly because the star QB of the team said, “Before we started this season, the AFC West said we were rebuilding. I’m going to be honest with you — I don’t know what rebuilding means! In our rebuilding year we’re world champs.” Fans had things to share.

Although it is too soon to say if the team is a sporting dynasty, it will be interesting to see where and what the Chiefs will do to gain that status. Will they enjoy the respect and fame that the Patriots did when they were in their Brady-Belichick era? Or fail to win a Super Bowl title next year?
