Former NFL punter Pat McAfee has established himself as a unique persona in the sporting community. Besides playing football in the league, McAfee also ventured into the world of professional wrestling entertainment with WWE. After retiring from professional football and with his venture into wrestling, McAfee appeared during WWE WrestleMania 38, where he battled it out in the ring with Austin Theory and then WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Marking a memorable appearance during one of WWE’s most important events, there were doubts about McAfee being a part of WrestleMania 39 after WWE CEO Nick Khan spoke about McAfee’s future with the company.

But the 35- year-old surprised fans by making an appearance, and he did it with style as he defeated 221 LB Superstar amidst his open threat for a challenge in the ring.

Despite Nick Khan’s statement about McAfee, fans were taken by surprise when the 35-year-old made an unexpected appearance at WrestleMania 39. The main event was about to begin, and hosts Snoop Dogg and The Miz had already taken the stage to address the gathering. Snoop proposed that The Miz should have a match on the show, but The A-lister revealed that despite issuing an open challenge online, no one seemed to be up for the challenge. That’s when McAfee made his entrance, much to the delight of the fans.

 

Just then, we see Pat McAfee make his entrance. His intentions were apparent as he strutted down to the ring. He wants to wrestle with The Miz. The match-up was made official, and the two locked horns as McAfee went on to defeat the A-lister. He also got a little assistance during his match from San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle as well.

While McAfee enjoys his success at WrestleMania 39, his best friend Aaron Rodgers’ future in the NFL still remains uncertain as a new Twitter drama erupts in his ongoing trade negotiation.

It has been a while since Packers legend Aaron Rodgers opened up about his intentions of playing for the New York Jets in his best friend’s show, the Pat McAfee show. But the trade has not seen any fruitful update as both the teams appear to be in a standoff in terms of the condition for the trade to pull through.

Recently, Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman tweeted that they will guarantee the Aaron Rodgers trade in the next three hours post his tweet time. But he made the tweet just a few hours after April 1, which is universally celebrated as April Fool’s Day.

This left the NFL world pondering over the credibility of the tweet, as fans are waiting in anticipation for a final conclusion to the A-Rod saga. More than three hours have passed, and there seems to be no update still about Aaron Rodgers being a part of the Jets. Maybe it was an April Fool joke by the reporter?
