Rob Gronkowski is a remarkable talent, showcasing a unique blend of skills in both the NFL and WWE. Not only has he excelled on the football field, but he has also left his mark in the world of professional wrestling. Gronkowski has been captured in videos alongside his wrestling friend Mojo Rawley, and he even made an unforgettable appearance at WrestleMania 33, interfering in the Andre Battle and assisting Rawley to secure the victory.

As a former tight end of the New England Patriots, Gronkowski boasts an impressive record of four Super Bowl victories, solidifying his status as one of the greatest NFL stars in history. However, his accomplishments extend far beyond football. In a surprising move, Gronkowski challenged Rawley, also known as Dean Muhtadi, and emerged victorious, clinching a championship in the WWE. Prior to his involvement in WWE, Gronkowski received an invitation to join the wrestling world from none other than the WWE chairwoman herself.

Six years ago, before Rob Gronkowski made his official foray into the wrestling ring, Stephanie McMahon, the Chief Brand Officer of WWE, extended an invitation to him in a video. During an ESPN interview, the host presented Gronk’s hype video to Stephanie and asked for her thoughts on it. The video showcased Gronk and his friend, wrestler Mojo Rawley, hyping each other up for a match. When asked if it seemed like Gronkowski would join WWE once his football career ended, Stephanie expressed her enthusiasm.

She stated, ?of course I would love to have Gronkowski.? She also revealed that she is a Patriots fan. Stephanie further mentioned that while it’s hard to predict the future, anything can happen in WWE. She acknowledged ?but Grant Robb Was Just Dead Smackdown. He was having a lot of fun? we?d love to see that transition to the ring.? To everyone’s surprise, Gronk did make an appearance in the game.

A new player in the ring!

After retiring from the New England Patriots following nine seasons with the team, Gronk made a notable transition to the world of professional wrestling. He signed with WWE and made his first appearance at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. In a short span with WWE, Gronk had a contract in 2020 and even won the 24/7 Championship by pinning Dean Muhtadi at WrestleMania 36.

Interestingly, last year, Gronkowski issued a challenge to the renowned wrestler, ‘The Rock‘, expressing his desire to face off against or team up with him inside the wrestling ring.
