Pat McAfee kept up with his reputation of bringing interesting bits of information from the NFL to the fans. The former Colts punter updated the fans on a documentary starring the Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, among others.
“Patrick Mahomes mic’d up for QB1 on Netflix. Yeah, on Netflix, Omaha and NFL films. I believe Patrick Mahomes’ mic’d up, is it all public?” McAfee started saying in a conversation on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’.He then revealed Netflix’s plans for a documentary series where they got full access to the Super Bowl champion. And it’s not only him. The Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins and former Atlanta Falcons signal-caller Marcus Mariota are also apparently a part of the documentary.
“I have heard now, my sources say that this is going to be phenomenal. Like the amount of access that was given by Mahomes, Cousins and Mariota, kind of how the storylines went. Plus, there is this quarterback mind that’s piecing it together. I’ve been told that this is gonna be, like remarkable,” McAfee revealed.
Netflix announced the series, now fully vouched for by McAfee, with the three quarterbacks back in February. The documentary series will follow the 2022 season through the eyes of the QBs. McAfee himself has been busy recently. He is expecting to become a father soon. But his most recent heroics come from the wrestling ring.
