Dallas Cowboys crawl past the finish line against the New York Giants

The NFC East table-toppers Dallas Cowboys faced the New York Giants last Sunday. A look at the scorecard may reveal that the game was a stroll in the park for the Cowboys. While the scoreboard indicated a 21-6 victory, the reality was far from that. Dallas Cowboys are possibly amongst the best endowed in the NFL with attacking talents. Despite the richness in resources, the Cowboys’ offense has been underwhelming, to say the least. For a side boasting the likes of Amari Cooper, Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, etc, the output is simply not up to the mark and Cooper agrees with this notion.

“We’re not really as explosive as we should be,” said Cooper in a recent interview. When quipped what he thinks is the problem, the WR revealed that the team simply doesn’t create enough chances for him. “But that’s not something I can really control. I do think there’s a benefit in me getting the ball in those important situations, like red zone, 3rd down, because I know what I’m gonna do. I’m just going to stay ready.”
