After a five-year stay at Pittsburgh, things didn’t end ideally for Le’Veon Bell. But it did not stop the running back to send his best wishes to his former quarterback. Ben Roethlisberger has hung up his boots yesterday after the win at Heinz Field.  

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cleveland Browns with a score of 26-14. This win eliminated the Browns and moved one step closer to the playoffs. The former Steelers star running back Bell sent a heartfelt message to Roethlisberger on Twitter. All the bad blood between Bell and the Steelers seems to have been settled. 

A message for Ben Roethlisberger by Le’Veon Bell

The former member of the ‘Killer Bs’ took to Twitter last night. After Roethlisberger’s last game, Bell uploaded a tweet in which he praised him. The message touched many Steelers fans’ hearts. Bell tweeted, “I can honestly say, I wouldn’t have made it this far without you 7,” 7 is the jersey number of Ben Roethlisberger. Bell definitely gives credit to the QB for helping him earlier in his career. Le’Veon adds, “I appreciate everything, & will miss watching your greatness…one of the very few who’s done it all with ONE TEAM.” 

Bell is proud to be a part of Pittsburgh with Ben. He is thankful for the time he got to share with the legendary quarterback. “I’m proud to say that I ever had a chance to play with you,” he adds. “HOF’er.” 

Ben Roethlisberger and Le’Veon Bell started 62 games together. Together they earned three Pro Bowls and four All-Pro teams. Even though things ended poorly before, Le’Veon still appreciates his time with the Steelers.

The 39-year-old has played in the NFL for 18 seasons. In all 18 of those seasons, he played in a Pittsburgh Steelers shirt. During that tenure, he has won Two Super Bowl titles. The quarterback hasn’t officially retired yet, but last week he did some interviews. Within those interested, he told the reporters that the week 17 game against the Browns will probably be his last regular-season matchup.

The Pittsburgh Steelers owner Art Rooney II made a video message for Ben on Monday. In the video, he thanked Roethlisberger for 18 glorious years. Ben Roethlisberger is a future NFL Hall of Famer. There is no denying that fact.
