The Dallas Cowboys had a polarizing offseason when they made some disputable moves. It was the time when the franchise traded off Amari Cooper, and the fans went crazy. It was a monstrous loss, which seems to pay off for the Bears. The trade is still under scrutiny by prominent analysts. They presented a serious question to America’s Team fans in the wake of Cooper’s departure.

During the FS1’s Undisputed broadcast, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless speak about the Browns annihilating the Bengals. Amari Cooper bludgeoned the Cincy defense, which led them to a sweep by 32-13. It led to the ex-NFL TE reflecting on how Jerry Jones dropped Cooper and moved on while putting a flaring question.

Shannon Sharpe mentioned, “We saw what Dak [Prescott] was before he got Amari [Cooper]. You were waiting for CeeDee [Lamb] to do what Amari did for Dak. Have you seen that? I have not. There’s no question in my mind… I mean, you talk about possibly; Would you even be thinking about Odell if you had Amari?”

Sharpe pointed out that the Cowboys’ wide receivers are next to the bottom of the league. They weren’t present when Cooper was there; it listed them in a super high position. He also believes that to let CeeDee Lamb ascend, they had to allow Amari Cooper to wither away.

Amari Cooper had great responsibilities in the winning sweep against the Bengals. He has put on a productive show since his arrival. Moreover, with Dallas struggling for some receiver help, it might be a loss for the Blue Star to trade him off.

There’s no doubt that Nick Chubb and Amari Cooper clinched Cleveland’s victory against Cin City. However, Cooper also made one of the worst-looking trick plays in league history. During the second drive, the Browns receiver threw a pick that got intercepted by Bengals defensive back Vonn Bell. It was frustrating for Cooper, who expressed his thoughts over the intercepted drive.

The Browns WR mentioned in the post-game media scrum that It was an abomination. Cooper did not know how difficult it was to let go of it. When he peered, it was in the hands of the opposition. It was dreadful.

Nevertheless, the play would be a teachable moment on how not to mess up a drive.
