The Super Bowl LVII gave fans the drama, the thrill of an exciting game, and entertainment through Rihanna’s stunning performance. Kansas City and the Philadelphia Eagles went head-to-head against each other in an energetic 38-35 shootout. It was also a historic game, considering for the first time two Black quarterbacks started a Super Bowl matchup. Even though the game favored the Chiefs at the end of the game, they were not doing very well before halftime. To shed more light on that, the team’s star QB, Patrick Mahomes, revealed what the head coach of the team told them before the dazzling performance of Rihanna.
The Grammy-winning singer stayed away from the stage for almost seven years. But the business tycoon made her comeback during Super Bowl’s halftime performance. The 13-minute show included her greatest hits. She was elevated into the air and sang her seven-time platinum song ‘Diamond’ as well. Every fan and celebrity was in awe of the star singer. However, the Chiefs players could not see Rihanna belt out her outstanding songs. And who was responsible for that? Head coach Andy Reid.

The Philadelphia Eagles started out very well. Things started looking bleak for Kansas City after Mahomes sustained a nasty tackle that re-aggravated his sprained ankle. KC was at 24-14. Therefore, coach Reid warned the players to not go out to watch the halftime show. And if they dared to go, the coach would have benched the players.
Fans had various reactions to the confession. While some people loved Rihanna’s performance, many did not really enjoy it because they accused her of lip-syncing instead of singing live.

Tight end Travis Kelce accepted his team did not play their best before halftime. Hence, it was important for players to play out of their character. “We were just able to regroup at halftime and figure it out.”
They were losing 24-14, they needed to focus on coming back more than that halftime show😂😂
