NFL World Trolls Falcons QB Marcus Mariota For Trying To Be Patrick Mahomes

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota is not having the best of seasons, and his team is also enduring a mixed season so far. On Thursday night, the Falcons played against the Panthers and suffered a pretty bad loss.

Since then, the clip went viral on social media, as the NFL world is making fun of the Falcons quarterback for trying to replicate the Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Notably, the 29-year-old QB Mariota was attempting a pass to one of his teammates and the Panthers linebacker Frankie Luvu tripped him. As he was falling, he did not touch the ball on the ground and attempted a pass while still lying on the ground.

After seeing that clip, the NFL world started mocking him, as they compared him with Mahomes, as he has a reputation for doing some outrageous flicks and tricks during games. One Twitter user wrote:

Meanwhile, the Falcons suffered their second loss in a row after losing against the Chargers last Sunday. Notably, the Falcons won a thrilling game in overtime against the Panthers at the end of October. Now, the Panthers got their revenge against the Falcons.
