Cole Beasley shows his support

The former wide receiver tweeted, “Won’t miss this part of professional sports,” responding to the news of Irving’s suspension.

“‘Be you’ they said, Yeah alright,” he added.

Beasley’s support did not come as a shock. Both the wide receiver and Irving share the same sentiments regarding vaccines as well. Both of them have been fined for being unvaccinated.

Critics of the vaccine mandate often praise Beasley and Irving for their stance. In another tweet, Beasley said, “People should be able to say what they want. You don’t have to listen to them and everything they say isn’t the truth. Stop being so damn sensitive”

Fans on Twitter wasted no time in taking shots at the wide receiver, who also fired back. While there were few who agreed with him, others criticized what he was doing.

Most recently Beasley tweeted, “Can we all admit we just get on Twitter to be mad and argue about stuff? Lol.” Was this the former Bucs wide receiver’s way of dousing the fire he started? That will be a question for him to answer.
