Antonio Brown just can’t stay away from controversies at all. One after another, he has courted several of them, especially in the past year. After avoiding arrest in a domestic violence case, he may finally face the music in a different case. His former partner has now accused the exiled wide receiver of sending explicit videos to her son’s phone.

The new details are backed up by some evidence too. And it may be enough for the authorities to slap new charges against Brown.

The new accusations came to light in the audio of the 911 calls made by the woman. According to TMZ Sports, she has accused Antonio Brown of sending explicit videos on the woman’s son’s phone. The act is illegal if the said child is underage.

The call audios suggest that the woman, whose identity has been a secret, clearly tells the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver that his act is illegal. Earlier, most of the reports said that the authorities wanted AB for a domestic violence case. But the new audio turns the case into a totally new direction.

The case came to light late in November last year when the Tampa Bay police department issued an arrest warrant against the wide receiver. That time, the case was about Brown throwing a shoe toward the woman. He also locked her out of his house and threw her belongings out on the street. Will he get arrested for the new charges? Brown has kept on making headlines ever since his unceremonious exit from the league in January last year.

The earlier controversies

Antonio Brown has always been a flamboyant figure since his NFL debut. But everything was going well for him at the Buccaneers. He had the confidence of his QB Tom Brady, and they won a Super Bowl together in the 2020 season. But after that, everything started to change.

The final nail came when Brown exited a Bucs game against the New York Jets in January last year in the third quarter. The coach did not take him off. Brown took off his uniform and ran back into the tunnel. He refused to play further in the game. The Buccaneers then cut him off from the team.

Since then, he has fallen out with Brady and has targeted him many times on social media. This included some distasteful comments about the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s divorce late last year.
