Lamar Jackson leads the Baltimore Ravens to a win against TB12’s Bucs

Before talking about the warning given by Lamar Jackson to the rest of the teams, it is important to know about the huge result that prompted such confidence.

The Baltimore Ravens squared off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football. The Week eight clash was important for the Bucs who have struggled so far this season. But Jackson and Co. had other plans.

Jackson completed 27 of his 38 pass attempts with no interceptions. He threw two touchdown passes in a 238-yard game for himself to lead Baltimore to a memorable victory. The Ravens QB also rushed nine times and gained 43 yards from that. Though Tom Brady had better yardage in the game at 325, he could affect only a single touchdown for the Bucs. Maybe that was the difference at the end of the game. Maybe that is what makes Jackson so confident about himself. In the end, the Ravens piped the Buccaneers 27-22.

Jackson’s warning for the league

This result is bound to make Lamar Jackson confident. And he has indicated that he is just getting warmed up. There is more where that came from. The Ravens QB has said on social media that the demon inside him has woken up. “They Done woke the Demon up,” Jackson wrote, along with a cinematic clip of his plays in the league.

The Ravens’ Flock is having a good time so far this season with five wins in eight games so far. They sit comfortably at the top of the AFC North table (the Cincinnati Bengals have a game in hand, though). The team seems to be on the path to win the division if Jackson keeps up his game.

The Ravens QB is currently 18th in yards thrown this season with 1635 yards. He has completed 148 of his 235 pass attempts this season with a 63% completion rate. Jackson has also thrown 15 touchdown passes while the defenses have intercepted six of his passes. Baltimore is well and truly here to stay.
