For a team who had a dreaded record of losing games, winning a Super Bowl in the first season of a talismanic player joining their ranks would seem like a fairytale for any team in the NFL. However, it is not. It is the story of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers until 2020 when a player many consider as being far greater in his position than any the NFL has seen joined them- Tom Brady.

The Bucs won only their second-ever Super Bowl in the 2020 season under the GOAT Tom Brady, who had just joined them from the Patriots. He further led the team to the playoffs in the 2021 season before announcing his retirement. As of now, Brady has decided to play one more season for the Bucs.
It has made the team set a steep aim for themselves in the 2022 season in order to give the perfect swansong to their great QB.
Will Tom Brady have his eighth Super Bowl before retiring?
Brady already has seven Super Bowl rings to his name, and the eighth is not an impossibility if we are to believe Devin White. According to him, the Buccaneers are only aiming for the Super Bowl in the 2022 season. The LB said, “It’s Super Bowl or nothing. We know that. I’ll say that in front of all the cameras.”
He continued, “That’s the only goal. That’s what we want. That’s what we’re after. We know we’re not there yet because it’s a long season, a long way to go. But that’s what we’re fighting for.”

It seems Brady’s winning mindset has percolated across the team, who have set their sights high and will push themselves for it.
The Bucs now are a changed team, especially in their mindset, from the one Brady joined in 2020. They are no longer considering making the playoffs their target, but they aim for the ultimate prize- the Super Bowl.
Is TB12 really retiring?
Tom Brady has said that this season would be his last in the league after an over 22-year-long career that has seen him win a record of seven Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Another Super Bowl would raise his tally to eight.

Brady retired after the 2021 season after losing in the playoffs of the 2021 season. Within 40 days of his announcement, he decided to ‘unretire’ and returned to play for one more season.
However, this time there is a greater chance that he will retire, given that he has signed an exclusive $375 million deal with Fox to join their NFL analysis team for a period of 10 years. Fox is expecting him to not only become an analyst. They also want him to be the company’s face and brand ambassador.
