With Over 11 Million Followers, Antonio Brown Only Follows One Person on IG and It Isn’t Kanye West or Floyd Mayweather

Former NFL star, Antonio Brown, has moved away from the game and has made rap music his career. This change of profession happened after a series of controversies during his time with the Buccaneers. However, he is not totally away from the game. Brown makes his presence known through social media.

AB has an active profile on Instagram. He uploads clips of music videos and opinions on NFL games and players. A popular figure, Brown enjoys 11 million followers. However, he follows just one person on IG. It is not his buddy, American rapper Kanye West. And, it is neither professional boxer Floyd Mayweather with whom he partied in Dubai. Brown follows popular actor Issa Rae.

Who is Issa Rae?

This American actor, writer, producer, and comedian gained attention for her work on the YouTube web series, Awkward Black Girl. Rae is a talented star with wide followers. She has been nominated for 8 prime-time Emmys. The 37-year-old actor has a few Spider-man series films coming up alongside some other new projects.

Rae achieved wider recognition as the co-creator, co-writer, and star of the HBO television series Insecure (2016–2021). Recently, the actor pitched for a cruel-free makeup on Instagram. Beyond the celebrity role, she often expresses views on political and social issues and has gained many followers. 

Is Antonio Brown trying to get into an acting career like Rae? So far, there is no update on it yet. Because the star player has set his sights on a rap music career. He has some new projects lined up. Meanwhile, his golden days with Tom Brady in the NFL are also over.

Why did Antonio Brown post a check for $150,000? 

The former NFL WR recently shared a paycheck on Instagram. It was a payment he received for the release of his project, Paradigm, in April. The intention is to show that he is making money despite not playing in the NFL.
