NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes said his team Kansas City Chiefs will learn from the loss against Indianapolis Colts. Andy Reid’s men suffered a dramatic 20-17 defeat in Week 3. It was one of the major upsets in the 2022 season. The game also saw Mahomes losing his cool as he was involved in a spat with offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. The 27-year-old and his team have an enormous challenge next week. They meet Tom Brady and Tampa in the Sunday clash next week.

The young superstar said he is aware of the hard schedule. He shared concern about “piling up L’s,” ahead of the titanic battle. “Our schedule gets no easier. We have a hard game Sunday night football in Tampa next week with a great defense. So we have to get better quickly. If we don’t, we don’t want to make these L’s to start piling up. We want to make sure we get back on that winning train,” the 2020 Super Bowl winner said.
Patrick Mahomes had a tough outing versus Colts
The NFL star started the game on a forgetful note. He could only throw 84 yards in the first half. Mahomes completed 20-of-35 passes for 262 yards in the game. The talented QB also registered one touchdown against one interception. Talking in the presser, the NFL superstar feels he can improve on his performance in the next game.
Kansas City’s shot caller lost his cool in the first half on offensive coordinator Bieniemy. During the post-match presser, he detailed what happened between the duo. “I pretty much just said, ‘Let me have a chance at it,’ and he was just like, ‘Let’s get to the locker room and get to the next half.’ I don’t know if that’s an altercation. That was the end of the conversation,” the QB added.
