Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heading for a heavyweight clash in Week 3 of the NFL. They lock horns with Aaron Rodgers-led team, Green Bay Packers. However, both teams are missing some of their major stars. Rodgers and his men are planning to rope in 27-year-old Kendrick Bourne. The rising talent has amassed 2,626 yards on 195 catches, including 16 touchdowns in his NFL career so far. 

Two of the Packers’ top receivers are down with injuries. Both Sammy Watkins and Christian Watson appeared on Green Bay’s latest injury report. The duo had hamstring issues and were limited participants on Wednesday. Wideouts Allen Lazard (ankle), Randall Cobb (illness), and tight end Marcedes Lewis are missing the action.

In short, it makes the passing game difficult for the Packers. The Bucs are also without their key man, Mike Evans, who has been suspended for a game. Cole Beasley has been named as the replacement.

Tom Brady and his men are coming into the backdrop of multiple wins. Victories against the Cowboys and Saints have brushed aside the pre-game talks regarding their form. Head coach Todd Bowles expressed confidence they can continue their winning momentum.

However, the offense game is yet to come into full action. It is one area that Brady and Co. have to address. The Packers won their last game against Bears 27-10. They can take a lot of pride after surrendering to the Vikings 23-7 in their season opener. A-Rod admits that a win against the Bucs can boost the team’s morale in a big way.

Replacements for A-Rod’s men: A need of the hour

The Bucs have found a replacement for Evans. A seasoned veteran, Beasley has gained the support of TB12. The Packers need a couple of pass catchers. Their trade proposal gives wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, a former teammate of The NFL GOAT, a chance for Sunday’s game. Bourne has been a part of six seasons in the NFL. He has played 77 games.
