Josh Allen is slowly rising up the ranks in the list of NFL quarterbacks. Earlier this year, Allen made his debut on the NFL Top 100 list at number 87. The young quarterback has been with the Buffalo Bills since 2018.

He started the 2020 NFL campaign on a strong note with a convincing 27-17 win against the New York Jets. The California-born quarterback is on a hot streak this year. He led the Bills to a 4-0 record before in the build-up to Week Five.

Allen is challenging the likes of Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson and Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers for the NFL MVP award.

But can he sustain this form in the latter half of the season, or is this a temporary hot-run for the promising youngster?

Josh Allen suffers his first loss with Buffalo Bills in 2020

The New York-based franchise suffered their first loss of the season against the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday. Allen completed 26 of his 41 attempted passes against the Titans last night.

He threw for 263 yards with 2 passing TDs against 2 interceptions. However, that could not prevent that Bills from falling to a 42-16 loss against the Titans in Week Five.

He is definitely in contention to challenge the likes of Rodgers, Wilson, and even Patrick Mahomes this year. Of course, the first two names from that list remain in pole position to bag the award.

Wilson was instrumental as the Seahawks beat the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Meanwhile, A-Rod is gearing up for a tough clash against an old foe, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, next Monday.

NFL great Jim Kelly labels Allen as a future ‘Hall of Famer’

Here’s what Buffalo Bills legend, Jim Kelly, said about Allen last week. “I’m very confident in that. I won’t say 100 percent. But what I see so far, barring injury, I love it.

“I love his enthusiasm, I like the system that they’re running, I like everything about what’s going on — except for the pandemic that’s going on, because I can’t go watch it,” Kelly told The New York Post.

Josh Allen is definitely having one of his best outings in the NFL this year. The University of Wyoming graduate has thrown for 1,589 yards with 14 passing touchdowns against 3 interceptions in 5 games this season.

Josh Allen and Co. take on the Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs this weekend. Both teams will start Week Six on the back of a loss.
