Davante Adams is an extraordinary talent. The Packers picked the wide receiver in the second round of the 2014 draft. He has stayed with the franchise for seven years. It seemed like when all else failed, Rodgers and Adams could always pull out a rabbit from the hat.

We saw an example of what they are capable of back in October. The Packers took on the Bears in a regular-season game last year. Midway through the matchup, Rodgers made an incredible 41-yard drive to Adams, and the receiver took it all the way. After the touchdown, the quarterback found a camera and delivered the infamous “I still own you!” line. A few days later, the WR told reporters, “That’s what makes us special, man.”

The connection was built on years of hard work and practice drills. A duo like Rodgers and Adams is not seen every day. The Packers fans will miss their favorite wide receiver, and so will Aaron Rodgers.
