Patrick Mahomes winning the second Super Bowl championship in four years hasn’t changed how fans feel about his younger brother and social media personality, Jackson Mahomes. And Chiefs fans tore into him after he posted a photo on Instagram with his 2x Super Bowl MVP brother.
The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 to win the Lombardi at the State Farm Arena in Phoenix. Mahomes’ entire family made the trip to support No 15. And Jackson faced considerable hate online because of his outfit choice and “piggybacking” on Patrick’s success.

Kansas fans could not have asked for a better leader and quarterback. Patrick Mahomes battled through a high ankle sprain and took his Chiefs to the promised land. And second times are extra special because Patrick and Co have solidified their place in history. However, fans still don’t want a lot to do with his brother Jackson Mahomes.
Fans even pleaded with Patrick to not have Jackson at the Super Bowl. However, Mahomes went with his family. And after the win, Jackson took the sibling click in the locker room. “Brobro,” he captioned it. “Bro is acting like he got 150 rush yards and 3 touchdowns,” one fan wrote.

His outfit choice was heavily criticized. Jackson wore white instead of the Chiefs’ red. “Bros not even wearing any chiefs’ gear,” one fan noted. Another commented, “Dude, why you never wear KC clothes or colors?” “Nothing like using your brother for likes,” another Jackson hater commented. “TikTok brother piggybacking on the success,” one fan wrote.
Jackson is used to the hate
NFL fans aren’t Jackson’s biggest cheerleaders. Over the years, Patrick’s younger brother has been the target of online bullying. His TikTok videos in stadiums have rubbed many Chiefs fans the wrong way in the past. A Denver Broncos fan even hurled homophobic slurs at Jackson.
However, Jackson seems to be above all the hate. And he has Brittany Mahomes as his biggest supporter. They were busy cheering Patrick, as he made two other Instagram posts from Super Bowl LVII. Jackson also took some bathroom selfies for his fans before Rihanna’s Super Bowl Half-time performance.

It’s hard to say if the feelings for Jackson will change anytime soon. However, if the Chiefs keep their winning ways, the NFL world has to give Jackson a chance sooner than later.
