Every position, even WR, has advantages and disadvantages. And every club, no matter how gifted, requires at least one, possibly two, quality players from both sides of the field. Every year when the NFL Draft takes place, there are many clubs that are short in depth at multiple positions.

However, the quarterback must not only be physically capable but also be able to read the defense and predict where the receivers would be, especially if they may run in an alternative direction.
