Antonio Brown is always on top of the news. He has been one of the most talked-about receivers in the league and has not been in a good light recently. However, putting it all aside, his numbers paint a different picture. He has been one of the biggest threats inside the gridiron.

Brown started his NFL journey with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010. During his nine seasons with the Roethlisberger-led offense, AB produced remarkable numbers and claimed a number of accolades. He proved to be a very dynamic receiver with incredible skill and tenacity which made him one of the best Steelers receivers ever.

Antonio Brown with Big Ben and the Pittsburgh Steelers

With Big Ben, he made seven Pro Bowls (2013-2018) and also claimed a spot in four All-Pro teams (2014-2017). Furthermore, he became a two-time league leader each in receiving yards and receptions and a one-time league leader in receiving touchdowns. To put his playmaking abilities into perspective, he also hauled in 100 passes for six straight seasons.

For his impressive productions, Brown was even considered to be better than Randy Moss and Terrell Owens. His tenure with the Steelers remains the most productive period of his career.

After his career with the Steelers, Brown gave brief stints with the Raiders for which he did not play a single game and the Brady-led Patriots for which he ended up playing just one game. During that game, he recorded four receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown.

AB’s resurrection with Tom Brady

He started the second phase of his career by joining forces with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. Brady chose Brown as he recognized the raw athleticism of the veteran receiver and his impressive footwork during plays.

Brown ended up winning his first Super Bowl title with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he was a big part of it. Brown was the only wideout to score a touchdown for the Bucs in the Super Bowl game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

AB’s production in games and his career has taken a huge hit ever since he left the Steelers, but could it not be because other coaches might have not complemented his skills that well? However, he still seems to be in astounding shape. His moves and playmaking were very evident during his last game against the Jets in the MetLife Stadium.

In his 2021 regular season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he played a total of seven games starting just three, yet he still ran for 545 yards which is more than his 2020 spell in which he recorded 483 yards in eight games played.
