The ‘Manning’ name is synonymous with American football. It all began in the 1900s as Archie Manning rose to fame while playing at Ole Miss. He went on to play for New Orleans Saints, Houston Oilers and the Minnesota Vikings. His sons, Peyton and Eli Manning, both winning two Super Bowl titles while playing in the NFL. Now, it’s time for third-generation starlet, Arch Manning, to make his mark in the American football fraternity.
Just like his uncles, Arch plays high school football at Isidore Newman School. His father, Cooper Manning, also had a brief spell as a high school wide receiver. However, he was forced to step away from the game after being diagnosed with spinal stenosis while still in high school.
With Arch tipped for future glory, will the pressure get too much for the youngster in the coming years?

Arch Manning – The latest jewel to emerge from the football-loving family
As per 247Sports, Arch Manning is the top-ranked High School quarterback from the class of 2023. He has been touring various universities over the past month. Three Division I universities are said to have made connections with him while two are considered ‘frontrunners’ for his signature.
But Manning scheduled an unofficial tour of Ole Miss. This is the same college that former New York Giants man Eli Manning and grandfather Archie played for.
“When it’s all said and done, he’s going to be the most highly recruited player out of the state of Louisiana. It’s going to be a tsunami of recruiting like we’ve never seen,” NFL Draft analyst Mike Detillier of New Orleans said earlier via Sports Illustrated.

Arch boasts an extensive skill set and at 6 ft 4 inches, he’s one of the tallest quarterbacks in his class. But what separates him from the others, is his fearless attitude in the huddle. When in shotgun formation, Manning Jr. does not hesitate with throwing the ball and rarely fumbles or gives away a pick 6.

He remains a leading candidate to win a national championship at the collegiate level. However, he is yet to commit to a specific university, officially or unofficially. Apart from Ole Miss, the likes of LSU, Alabama, Clemson and Georgia are in the hunt for his signature. This might be a long and arduous summer for the young starlet.
