However, it’s the ‘Level Up’ singer’s choice of footwear that is making all the buzz.

While husband and Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson polishes his cleats ahead of offseason training activities, his wife Ciara sported a pair of combat boots with protruding spikes that looked lethal and fashionable all at once. Fans wanted to know where they could find their own pairs.

Ciara spikes it up a notch with her new photoshoot

Days after the release of her new single ‘Da Girls’ and the subsequent success, the Grammy-winner posted a brand new photoshoot carousel on her Instagram account. “Standing 8 feet tall at all times,” the 37-year-old captioned her post.

In the video clip playing to the tune of ‘6 Foot 7 Foot’ by Lil Wayne, Ciara donned a Lil Wayne concert t-shirt along with black cargo pants with her platinum-look hair. However, the main attraction was the spike-laden boots on her feet. Rings of spikes shot out of the shoes beside the massive zipper and the elaborate detailing on the buckle.

“Where are the shoes from,” one fan asked. Another chimed in on a similar note, “Can someone tell me where these boots are from?”

“Thank you for always being authentic,” one admirer wrote to the mother of two. “Unreal,” another commented. “They can’t compare. That’s why they’re mad,” one fan summarized the vibes in the comments.

Fans’ reactions are starkly opposite to Ciara’s previous boot demo

The photographer, named Mastermind, let his appreciation and excitement known after having the opportunity to work with Ciara. “God is truly amazing. Truly a huge moment in my career working with someone I’ve watched and been inspired by since I was a teenager,” he wrote.

However, the welcoming reaction to the spike boots is bound to surprise Ciara. She faced considerably more criticism for showing off the MSCHF’s Big Red Boots last month. Although less dangerous in appearance, fans still chose the comfort of the spike shoes over having to walk in the Big Reds.
