Jerry Jones has been a risk-taker in his entire life. And when it comes to business, he is always adamant about making decisions. This season, the Dallas Cowboys management vowed to enter the field with young players and new faces on the team. Right now, the left tackle position is a matter of concern for the Jones-led side. However, he made an honest admission about including a rookie to start for the team.

This offseason, the Cowboys revamped the offensive and defensive units with plenty of talents. One such athlete to have caught Jones’ attention was the Tusla product, Tyler Smith. And guess what, the 21-year-old will start at the left tackle in his rookie season.
With Tyron Smith out of the park incurring a serious hamstring injury, the next viable option to look after is the new recruit, Tyler Smith. However, the fans are skeptical about Jones’ approach for not baiting an experienced player from outside.
Jerry Jones said Cowboys will have growing pains with LT Tyler Smith: Do I wish we had Tyron? Yes. Will we get Tyron back? Likely. (Tyler) will come in, get a Harvard doctor’s degree in playing LT. Will we pay some price for it? Yes. Can we win with paying price? I think so, yes.

Recently, the businessman asked management to look from within and find solutions. It will be an opportunity for the newcomers to come forward and make an impact.
As the season is about to begin, reporters asked Jones if the team is still backing Tyler and will cause any trouble for the Cowboys’ aspirations. “He’s got everything we hoped and more when we drafted him. That’s exactly what we drafted him for,” Jones said about Tyler Smith.
“Do I wish we had Tyron? Yes. Will we get Tyron back? Likely. But in the meantime, he’s going to come in, and he’s going to get a Harvard doctorate degree in playing left tackle between now and then. Will we pay some price for it? Yes. Can we win with him paying a price? I think so, yes.” He added to his explanation.
Fans fumed about Jerry Jones and his decision to back a rookie
This offseason Jones affirmed that he is aiming for playoffs and eventually a title if the team manages to win the postseason games. However, compromising the offensive lineup might hinder their aspirations, and Smith can be one of the reasons, according to the fans.
One user gave a severe analysis on Jones’ price statement.
Does he realize that some of that " paying a price " could be his 40mil a year QB lying on his back with a busted rib because he got blind sided?
Or we create new NFL records in penalties every week and half our offensive drives die due to penalties ( oh like last season! )

Another user was confused about Jones’ previous statement.
So wait…… Are we not signing Peters?

This user mentioned that Jones will learn the hard way.
Forward this to him. When #4 end up getting killed from having to run for his life over and over he will see. Jerry about to learn the hard way like a kid!!! This offense gonna be so stale !!!

Another user called it a master move to bring Sean Peyton.
What if… he's trying to lose so he can bring in Sean Payton?

While this user had a pretty serious question for the NFL.
Is the NFL going to allow Dak to have a camera on him to see his blindside every time he steps back? Who is finishing the season Grier or Rush?

This user dragged JJ into the conversation.
Y'all still think JJ actually cares about winning?

Another user said was asking to bring a veteran.
Can we let him get a Masters at LG and bring in a veteran LT?

How good was the roster management asked this user.
Can I continue to ask myself questions to downplay the scrutiny of our roster management? That remains to be seen

With newcomers getting encouragement from the management to go above veterans will help them boost their morale. However, it becomes their responsibility to live up to the expectations. It will be interesting to see if a young lineup backed by Dak Prescott as the quarterback brings home a Super Bowl title.
