Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ victory at Super Bowl LV, the NFL offseason officially set in. While players across the league got their bit of rest after a long season of football, most are back to the grind. While the offseason has seen various team events go down, most teams are now gearing up for NFL training camp to kick off.

The offseason can be broken up into several categories. First off the board were rookie minicamps where the sides’ college acquisitions got their first taste of life in the NFL.

Then followed Organized Team Activities or OTAs. Plenty of players skip this as it is often not mandatory to attend. Mandatory minicamps kicked off for most franchises on June 18, and while mandatory, some players chose to hold out due to several personal and contract bound reasons.

And now with minicamp done and duster, teams look forward to the start of training camp.

When does NFL training camp start in 2021?

The Steelers and Cowboys will begin training camp from July 21 as the two sides will be taking part in this year’s Hall of Fame Game. The Buccaneers on the other hand will start training camp from July 24 as they kick off the new league campaign against the Cowboys on September 9, three days before the rest of the league play their Week 1 ties.
